Rodbourne Green
Rodbourne Green is the old village green, church and manor of the village previously known as Rodbourne Cheney.
Although it officially became part of Swindon in 1928, the area maintains its village atmosphere and real sense
of community seldom found elsewhere. The virtual tour covers the medieval church, 16th century manor house and

Malmesbury AbbeyMalmesbury Abbey is about one third of its original size, the rest of it having fallen down around the turn of the 16th Century! These virtual tours were created for the Abbey's web site. The Abbey is a stunning building and the centre of a thriving church community. |

Maud Heath's CausewayMaud Heath was a widow who lived near Chippenham. In 1474 she bequeathed a gift of land to provide funds for the building and maintenance of a causeway across the muddy fields to Chippenham market. This monument to Maud was erected at the top of Wick Hill in 1838. |
